Welcome To Little Footprints
Jay Stephen, founder and director of Little Footprints, brought her years of kindergarten teaching experience into the program(s) and made learning a fun experience for children in their early years. Starting off in 2005 from a home based facility with a commitment to quality in learning and a vision to provide top notch service, children soon started to be waitlisted and centers in the area opened.
In 2012, in partnership with Nixon Chirpanath Little Footprints was incorporated and our first commercial center at Kennedy Heights opened. This was followed by the opening of our Strawberry hill location in 2014. Again, in 2017 we expanded our Kennedy Heights location to accommodate a larger group for the before and after school program. Later this year (2018), we intend to open our next location in the Nordel area of Delta.
Currently, we have consolidated our multiple locations into larger commercial centers enabling us to provide a more conducive and stimulating environment to enhance learning and provide quality care and our vision to take childcare services to the next level. Little Footprints evolved into one of the largest facilities in the Surrey / North Delta region growing at a steady pace arising out of a passion to educate our young children in the community and a dedication to provide unparalleled service to young families.
Our core team comprises of Directors and Managers who work tirelessly to make our programs and services one of the best in the industry so that the ultimate benefit goes to the child (ren) who we have the privilege of being entrusted with.
Together, we strive to provide quality care that encompasses strong academic foundation, enhanced social skills and provide an environment where lasting bonds develop early on in their lives with peers and the teachers. It is also our motto to provide state of the art technology to keep parents involved in their child’s day to day activities and provide services that is consistently reviewed to make it a positive and pleasant experience for anyone walking in through our doors.
We have a dedicated and committed team of Early Childhood Educators whose passion in teaching and caring is reflected in the confidence and love that is reciprocated by the children in our infant, toddler, prekindergarten, multi-age and school age programs. The positive feedback and immense gratitude we hear from the families that we service are a testament to the care that our teachers are committed to providing.
Our teachers are hired through a selection process to ensure they are able to provide a level of service and teaching that goes beyond just their qualifications on paper. We also conduct in-house workshops and team bonding exercises to keep our teachers resourceful and well connected. We acknowledge that the field of Early Childhood Education needs to be validated on an ongoing basis and we do our due diligence to stay on top of the market.
What Our Parents Have to Say
Little Footprints has been my son’s second home. The decision of trusting my child to a daycare was one of the most difficult decisions I have made as a parent but Little Footprints is so much more than a daycare ... its family. The teachers provide a safe, loving space where my son has thrived. Parents are involved and are kept well informed. Thank you Ms Jay and the whole LF family! You provide me with piece of mind.

"Ms. Raj, Ms. Ruby and their team, loved and cared for my kids like their own. Every concern I had was addressed by Jay and staff the next day. Staff was excellent at keeping me updated on daily happenings with my children...good or bad. My twins attended full time from age 1-5. The preschool program they incorporated into the day prepared my kids for Kindergarten. They were familiar with the curriculum and classroom expectations from Day 1 of Kindergarten. I always dropped off the kids knowing they were in good, loving hands."

Our son started his first year of school back in 2009 with Jay & Little Footprints and he stayed on for 6 years. Majority of his time was spent at the Scott Road & 80th location & he especially enjoyed the camps they offered during the spring/summer breaks. Jay has always been someone who we could count on as an extended member of our family.
Little Footprints was a second home to both my school age daughters for 3+ years. She not only provided a fun environment that my daughters enjoyed but also a safe one as well so that I could have peace of mind at work. I would recommend Little footprints daycare knowing that your children will be in good hands.

My oldest daughter attends the Prekindergarten3. Lead Teacher Miss Christina is always supportive of the children and encourages My oldest daughter can't wait to get into the class room in the mornings and give Miss "skeena" a hug. Each teacher provides attention to each child and individually and as a group and have an excellent disposition towards all the children in the class. Miss Alicia, Miss Christina, Miss April, Miss Atifa are all a pleasure and informative on education and development for their group. I can't put a price on the lessons my two have learned. Social skills to overall educational readyness. I am so happy we found you.
My oldest daughter started when she was 6 months old. Despite my apprehension on returning to work all the teachers made me feel welcome and comforted that she was in excellent hands. As time progresses and her baby sister now attends the center too. I can not put a value on the lessons both kids have learned at Little Footprints. I have come to appreciate all the new things that they share with me and the lessons they learn that I would not be able to provide to them. The Infant and Toddler programs has compationate and caring teachers that I can see truly do care for each child individually. I can see from the excitement and smiles on my youngests face she is so happy to attend the center and that puts my mind at ease.
